Intermediate reeds have a more immediate response and flexibility than professional reeds, but still have a warm sound. These reeds are ideal for students or oboists who prefer a lighter, easier reed, and come in 2 strengths. Medium soft reeds work well for students who have been playing for 1-3 years. Medium works best for 3+ years.
